To whom it may concern:
I had the opportunity to be present at a performance Mr. Rex Ruth gave last November 2009 in San Francisco California, and was very impressed. He communicated his message effectively and was very polished. He has very good stage presence, is articulate and kept his audience spellbound for a solid 20 minutes. Not only is Mr. Ruth good at what he does, he is also very generous. When he offered me his services at a campaign fundraiser event for a nominal fee, I jumped at the opportunity, and he performed for us on Sunday February 28th, 2010 and I have no regrets. Everybody loved his impersonation of Maj. Gen. Fremont and I know he will get many more invitations to repeat his performance. I am very grateful for his generosity.

Dear Major General John C. Fremont,
On behalf of the entire Forest Hill Divide Historical Society, I would like to extend our appreciation in regards to your attendance and presentation at our February 15, 2010 dinner. It was our great pleasure also to have in attendance your wife Jessie Benton Fremont, and the Reverend Peter Cool.Every one of our members enjoyed your ability to transport us to a time of great social upheaval and change in our country. With the issue of slavery and it’s corrosive effect on the very foundation of our great democracy, the splitting apart of our great country was a real possibility. Your ability to demonstrate the urgency of that period is noteworthy. We look forward to seeing you again. Until then, keep up you excellent work.

To whom it may concern:
I am writing this to say I cannot think of a more affective and entertaining way to connect past U.S. history with the present, then to see Rex Ruth’s performance in bringing back to life Major General John C. Fremont, who was the first Republican to run for the Presidency of the United States. His message is presented quite visually as he parallels historical events in the late 1800′s with today’s politics.
The Auburn Area Republican Women have engaged Mr. Ruth twice over the last few years as guest speaker. He is a very patriotic man who knows history well, and is willing to dedicate his time and talents to illustrate and remind us of the platform that the Republican Party was founded upon.
Mr. Ruth’s presentation is outstanding. And it reinforces in each of us that we must be proactive in maintaining the foundation of principles that our Republican forefathers established.
We certainly would recommend him to any and all of the Republican Women’s Federated chapters.
Thank you Mr. Ruth.
